A number of teaching assistantships, tuition waivers, and scholarships are expected to be available through both universities for qualifying students. For full consideration for these opportunities, applications should be postmarked by March 1st. Applications received after that date will be considered for financial aid on the basis of availability.

Students who apply to one of the two universities in the joint degree program and are admitted but without financial aid may, in some circumstances be encouraged by the joint admissions committee to apply to the other university in order to increase opportunities for financial aid. There is therefore no benefit in applying to both universities at the same time.

For additional information on financial aid for graduate students, please contact the Graduate School of Washington State University or the Graduate School of the University of Idaho.
